The Steel Cups Rain Chain is made of stainless steel for strength and durability. The copper option is stainless steel plated in copper so it will not rust and the copper will patina beautifully overtime.
To prevent damage in transit and reduce packaging volume, the upper wires are shipped separately from the cups, so some assembly is required. Each rain chain comes with a matching v-hook for easy installation. We recommend the Installation Kit (sold separately) to help direct water onto the rain chain.
